No Mess Left Behind
Our staff will leave our designated workspace looking good as new. Between covering/moving personal belongings, covering your drains with hair catchers, vacuuming and wiping up hair/nails, and staying on top of any other mess we create, we will ensure a professional groom in your home, without the headache.

No Travel Stress
Many dogs are already at their limit by the time they reach the salon due to the stress of travel. Car sickness and anxiety can in turn lead to repeated bad experiences and a fear of grooming. With in-home services, your dog doesn't have to go anywhere, so we can jump straight to fostering a positive relationship and getting them used to the grooming process.

No Loud Generators, Time in Cages or Exposure to Noisy Dogs
- Most salons will have to kennel(cage) your dog for periods of time during the grooming process. For kennel trained dogs, this is no big deal. For dogs with no kennel experience or those with kennel anxiety, this time can become outright dangerous, as they may injure themselves attempting to escape, or worse, have a medical emergency as a result of their stress. The whining and barking of other dogs can compound these reactions.
- With mobile van and trailer grooming, most companies rely on extremely loud generators which can cause a lot of stress to pets. These vans and trailers are also prone to extreme heat during the Summer months, which cannot be properly controlled with most systems. This can become dangerous for groomers and your pets.

Ability to Supervise/Help with Groom
You can stick around and watch us groom your dog, provide them with reassurance and/or help when they're wiggly. We don't mind! We can even provide bite gloves if needed to make the process safer. We will work with you to ensure your dog is cared for the way you feel is best.

Affordable add-ons, No Hidden Fees
Corporate grooming salons lure customers in with affordable sounding pricing, only to offer bare bones services with expensive add-ons and materials fees tacked on at the register. At Gentle Spaws, our packages are all inclusive. All dogs receiving a bath or haircut package will receive a high quality shampoo and conditioner, blueberry facial soap, ear cleaner, nail trim and/or grind, and gland expression(if needed).

Our basic packages include high quality clarifying shampoo, nail trimming and grinding, ear cleaning, blueberry facial scrub, blow drying and a thorough brush out, so you get the most bang for your buck.
Expert Team
Our owner, Melody, has 10 years pet care experience and 8 years grooming experience. From shave downs to long breed trims, we have the experience and expertise to get you the results you're looking for.
Responsive, Respectful and Punctual
We respond to all requests ASAP, whether that be for booking or general questions. We're always willing to discuss our services or your dog further before booking. All customers and their pets will be treated with kindness and respect, and our groomers will always send you an ETA and arrive as close to your appointment time as possible.
